OK – does the world really need another storage blog? No – and yes! After doing this IT/tech stuff for 23+ years and talking to hundreds of CXOs, IT managers and DBAs, it has become clear that figuring out what all this technology means from a strategy perspective is getting harder. We are maturing as a society when it comes to IT. We are demanding more. We are less impressed. And we create more content…
This blog is started to reflect and share insights and ideas on how IT is changing and how we can get inspired and take advantage of such changes. Storage is a good place to start. There is more and  more data every day.  We are writing our collective history.  On YouTube, on FaceBook, on Twitter, on the next BIG platform.  The average IT shop is experiencing an ongoing data growth of 60% YoY – regardless of recession(s).  

So one thing is for certain: there is more and more content out there. We need to store 10X more of it every 5 years… Finally, why store data if you cannot find it in a timely fashion? – That and lots of other topics will be explored in this BLOG.
